Coloplast Sales Meeting
Tami Sherman, a partner in Elements, a corporate meeting planning firm, was contacted by Minneapolis-based Coloplast to orchestrate the company's annual national sales meeting at the Hyatt Regency. She knew the audio visual component would be the most important piece of the puzzle she needed to assemble. "For large sales meetings, I like to partner with a local audio visual company that can provide a high level of speaker support," says Sherman. "Graybow was recommended to me by one of the sales trainers at Coloplast and I was very impressed with their references and their consultative process."

The purpose of the event was to assemble the company's sales force, marketing teams and executive management to educate, motivate and celebrate by conducting product training, launching new marketing initiatives for the coming year, preparing the sales teams for another year of sales, and celebrating the past year's successes. Over the course of three days, the teams would attend a number of large general sessions with numerous speakers, smaller breakout sessions, and a large awards ceremony.
"One of the main things that Graybow did best was provide us with a very clean, professional look on a tight budget," says Sherman. "We had very tight limitations set for this event and Graybow pulled together some staging options that fit the budget by giving me creative ideas of what they already had on hand."
Once the event's agenda was in full swing, Graybow's technical staff worked closely with Sherman and the speakers to coordinate the audio visual components of each presentation according to schedule, and to manage the technology station at the rear of each ballroom.
"When running an event of this size, you need people that will be your partner and really embrace being part of the team," says Sherman. "Graybow was flexible when needed, they brought fresh ideas to the table, and once on-site, they were very dedicated and approached the event with a professional attitude; they really brought their best game."
