Designed as a multi-functional center for the Army's Crusader program, the room is used as both a training area for operations and a marketing area where both customers and high level military personnel are introduced to the Crusader.

Graybow's assignment was to create a high end projection system with surround sound support and remote control for a graphically intensive, immersive training environment. All systems were linked through 3D graphics generation computer systems. At the time it was built, the Crusader VII was one of only three such facilities in the country. Since then, Graybow has designed and integrated a similar facility for United Defense's Navy programs.
