ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH

For years, Zion Lutheran Church in Albert Lea, Minn., used a simple portable video projection system that consisted of a small video projector on a roll-out cart, a screen mounted on a hinge bracket that would expand into the Sanctuary when necessary and an antiquated underpowered audio system.

Graybow worked closely with Pastor Joel Vano of Zion Lutheran Church to define and map out a multimedia audiovisual presentation system for the church, which would include upgrades to the existing systems in the Sanctuary, Narthex, Fellowship Hall and Fireside Room.

To handle the video portion of the design, Graybow teamed with several partners including Vaddio, NEC, Prodisplay, LG, and Extron to develop the ideal High-Definition Video solution. To handle the audio portion of the design, Graybow teamed up with several partners including: JBL, Crown, Radian Audio Engineering, Soundcraft, BSS, TOA and Audio-Technica to develop the ideal sound re-enforcement solution.

“Being able to provide full audio and video of the worship service to our overflow area has been such a blessing,” says Pastor Vano.

Upon completion of the new multimedia audiovisual presentation system, Pastor Vano noted that the audiovisual and technology upgrades have helped the church communicate messages to the congregation in so many new ways. “It’s also great to work with a company that takes the time to customize the systems to our specific needs,” he says. “We’ve only just begun to tap into the technological advances that Graybow provided with our new system. We look forward to future additions to expand this incredible system even further.”
